Spring practice at Alabama is often the time for experimentation.

Coach Nick Saban plugged in redshirt freshman Chris Owens at right guard during a sled drill in Monday's practice while Lester Cotton watched.

Another spot on the offensive line that is getting close attention is at left tackle. Cam Robinson started at that position the past three seasons but he's preparing for the NFL draft. "It's been good. I'm really comfortable there," Williams said. "It's something I've been working on since the end of last season. I just feel comfortable in that spot. I played both in high school. We'd switch, depending on where we were on the field."
