Alabama's Tim Williams scores friendship with young fan battling cancer
HOOVER, Ala. —
The NFL Draft is less than two weeks away.
But Alabama's Tim Williams was not concerned with his pro potential on Friday night.
Williams was in Hoover to visit two-year old Max Williams, who is undergoing cancer treatment.
Tim Williams says the opportunity to visit fans like Max is thrill that even the game of football can't match.
"You know football isn't everything," Tim Williams said. "There's people out there that value family, football teaches people you're out there for your teammates, for your family. So being here just warms my heart."
