Redskins Jonathan Allen molds into NFL form

Redskins rookie Jonathan Allen says he plans to get "bigger, faster and stronger" before training camp starts

Jonathan Allen earned his spot in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Now he's working to earn his spot on the NFL field.

Allen wrapped up his first mini camp with the Washington Redskins this week and there is a six week "lay-off" before the start of training camp.

But Allen doesn't intend to let up. He told reporters to get "bigger, faster and stronger" before the team resumes workouts next month.

"Really everything that you can think of," Allen said. "Staying in good shape. Just being ready to play football when I come back for camp."
