Tuesday's special election postponed

Polls are closed Tuesday because election officials anticipate potential hazardous weather conditions.

Anthony Johnson and Arthur Lee Shores arematched in the Democratic runoff in House District 53 in Jefferson County.

MikeHolmes and Jimmy Collier will compete in the Republican runoff inHouse District 31 in Elmore and Coosa counties.

House District 104's special election in Mobile County is also postponed.

No word yet on when those votes will be held.
