West Virginia Woman Accused Of Going On School Bus, Attacking Driver

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A Kanawha County school bus driver was assaulted after police said an irate parent started swinging at her, and it was all caught on camera.{}Tenicia Walls, 22, is accused of getting on a school bus in Orchard Manor in Charleston to get her kid off the bus first for some reason. That is when they said it got ugly.{}The bus was stopped to let kids off when Walls ran onto the bus, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. The complaint said the driver repeatedly asked Walls to get off the bus, but she refused.{}Charleston police said Walls tried to get on the bus and was blocked by the bus driver, Shelly Ryan. The video shows the driver's head snap back.{}Police said Walls slapped Ryan in the face causing substantial pain and injury.{}Ryan told police that parents surrounded the police and started banging on it. The complaint said Walls then opened an emergency exit on the bus, allowing the kids to get off the bus.{}Walls is charged with battery and posted a personal recognizance bond after being arrested.{}
