17-year-old arrested in Woodlawn 16-year-old's shooting death

    Birmingham Police arrested a 17-year-old in connection with a 16-year-old Woodlawn High School student's shooting death.

    William Edwards, co-captain of his school football team, was shot inside his home on 80th Street North around 12:30 a.m. on September 1.

    The 17-year-old is facing Capital Murder charges and is being held at the Jefferson County Jail.

    ABC 33/40 is not identifying the suspect because he is a minor.
