TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A 17-year-old was arrested Wednesday in connection to a shooting at the Hay Court Apartments in Tuscaloosa Tuesday that injured five people, according to the Tuscaloosa Police Department.
Authorities said the teen was charged with five counts of attempted murder and was also charged with, "Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling and Certain Persons Prohibited from Possessing Firearms."

This arrest comes after authorities said someone opened fire on a group of people gathered outside in a common area of the public housing community.
Authorities said the teen will be charged as an adult and a judge approved a consolidated cash bond of $336,000 on all charges.
