ANNISTON, Ala. — Anniston Police have arrested and charged two men in the murder of a woman who was found dead in a street Thursday.
Amanda Kirby, of Oxford, was in a car when she was shot several times in the upper torso, investigators say. Medical personnel found her body in the 2000 block of Winchester Road.
Later that day, police officer arrested Robert Jenkins, of Anniston, for his suspected role in the crime.
Anniston Police, the 7th Judicial Major Crimes Unit, the U.S. Marshals, and the ATF worked together to locate a second suspect, Marcus Pinson, of Anniston. Investigators arrested him while executing a search warrant at a Ragland home.
Both men have been charged with murder and booked into the Calhoun County Jail on a $60,000 bond each.
