4 arrested on drug trafficking charges in Etowah County
ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. —
Four people are facing drug trafficking charges after a search warrant was executed at a Gadsden motel, according to authorities.
Agents with the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit seized roughly 30 grams of suspected heroin, 39 grams of methamphetamine, hydrocodone, salvia, 4 grams of suspected marijuana, a loaded handgun, suspected drug paraphernalia and suspected stolen property in the search.
As a result of the search, authorities say Justine Alyssa McAlister, Kristen Lashea Strawn, Courtney Brooke Dildy and Justin Keith Threlkeld all face charges of trafficking heroin, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of certain chemical compounds, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a pistol by a violent felon.
The four suspects were taken to the Etowah County Detention Center and held on $100,000 bond.
