5 charged with drug trafficking in Etowah County
ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. —
Five people are facing charges of trafficking in salvia in Etowah County.
According to the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit, agents executed a search warrant at a home on Ashland Street in Gadsden. During the search, agents seized roughly 263 grams of salvia, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.
As a result of the search Jevon Levincent English, 26, Misty Walker Willet, 37, and three others are charged with trafficking in salvia.
All five are being held on $101,000 bond.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and the suspects could face additional state and federal charged.
