ABC 33/40 coverage honoring President George H.W. Bush

    ABC 33/40 coverage honoring President George H.W. Bush begins Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m. and is estimated to end around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

    Coverage will start when the Bush family departs Blair House, continuing through the entire memorial service at the Washington National Cathedral. Coverage will conclude after the family's departure from the Cathedral around 12 p.m.

    ABC 33/40 will neither air the departure ceremony from Joint Base Andrews at 12:30 p.m. nor the arrival ceremony at Ellington Field at 4:30 p.m.

    On Thursday, ABC 33/40 will air President Bush's funeral service at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, starting at 10 a.m. and ending around 11:30 a.m. At 12:30 p.m. coverage will continue with the transportation of President Bush's casket by train to College Station, Texas, lasting about five minutes.

    Starting at around 4:45 p.m. ABC 33/40 will broadcast the arrival and interment of President Bush's casket in College Station, lasting about one hour.
