
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — A homicide investigation was underway in Birmingham Monday night.
The Birmingham Police Department said the incident happened around 6:40 p.m. at a residence in the 1900 block of Huntingdon Lane.
Police said officers found 22-year-old Isaiah Randall Harris inside a home suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

Harris and the suspect are believed to have been in a room inside the house possibly playing video games, where a small party was also going on in another part of the home.
Police said people who were attending the party suddenly heard gunshots from inside the room.
On Tuesday, April 18, police said an adult male suspect turned himself into police custody at BPD Headquarters.
The suspect, whose identity was not provided, is in the Birmingham City Jail under a 48-Hour Felony Extension for the charge of murder.
