BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin announced Wednesday that the city is preparing to address predatory towing concerns from the community.

In a Twitter post, Mayor Woodfin said a new towing ordinance is being drafted and a public hearing would be scheduled for June 2023.

Mayor Woodfin said the purpose of the meeting is to hear from those who believe they have been impacted by predatory towing.
