A child believed to be the victim of an out-of-state abduction was rescued in Calera Monday.
The Calera Police Department said its tag reader cameras notified it of the presence of the vehicle suspected to be involved in the abduction.

Police said officers responded and recovered the child and arrested a suspect. The child had been abducted several states away.
Police said this is the fourth child that has been rescued since the department obtained the cameras.
No additional details were immediately provided about the incident.
