Man arrested on child pornography charges in Pelham

PELHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — A Pelham man was arrested on child pornography charges Wednesday.

The Pelham Police Department said 39-year-old Jamie Paul Hutto was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of dissemination of child pornography.

The police department said it was recently made aware of alleged wrongdoing by a resident of Pelham.

Investigators began looking into the complain and an arrest warrant for Hutto was secured.

Hutto was booked into the Shelby County Jail. His bond was set at $300,000.
