Marcus Spanevelo plea hearing continued until January 2024

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — The ex-boyfriend of a Florida woman, whose body was discovered in St. Clair County, will not enter a plea in Alabama until 2024.
Marcus Spanevelo’s plea hearing was continued until January 10, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in Pell City, Alabama.
Spanevelo was indicted on an abuse of a corpse chargein the county last Decemberrelated to the discovery of Cassie Carli's body.
