Man found shot multiple times during welfare check inside Talladega home

TALLADEGA, Ala. (WBMA) — A man was found dead inside a Talladega home Friday after being shot.

The Talladega Police Department said 43-year-oldJohnathan Vann Boyd was discovered during a welfare check onHowell Cove Road.

Police said when an officer made entry into the house, they found Boyd had been shot multiple times.

Police said Boyd was taken to the Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery for an autopsy.
