ALDOT to begin work on $8.4 million bridge-replacement project in Gadsden
The Alabama Department of Transportation on Monday announced it would begin work on a two-year project to repair both bridges on U.S. 431 at Black Creek in Gadsden.
ALDOT said in a release that single-lane closures, in both directions, are expected to begin Wednesday or Thursday.
Construction signs are currently being posted to alert drivers of the work.
ALDOT said the project will cost $8.468 million.
