Sheriff: Shooting at Greenetrack leaves 1 dead, 2 injured
UPDATE: 4:30 p.m.
Greene County District Attorney Greg Griggers tells ABC 33/40 that the suspect has been identified as Antoine Robinson.
Griggers says Robinson attacked a security guard, Booker Vester, took his gun and assaulted him with it.
According to the authorities the suspect died after shooting himself.
Griggers informs us that Booker Vester is a former Greene County Deputy and that he remains in the hospital, recovering from his injuries.
Update, 11:47 PM
Authorities say an afternoon shooting at Greenetrack in Greene County left one person dead and two others critically injured. The sheriff's office said only one of the two injured victims was shot. Authorities didn't say how the other victim was injured.
Greenetrack sent out a statement saying, one of their security guards was injured while protecting customers, as far as the other person injured in the shooting, their last known condition was critical.
Authorities today are investigating a possible shooting at Greenetrack in Eutaw.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are assisting at the scene.
