Birmingham home invasion leaves one injured

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —

Police say one person was injured in an overnight home invasion in Birmingham.

Officers arrived to the home on Carson Road around 1 a.m. to find a victim shot in the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

No suspect information is available.
