Churches in Alabama stepping up to help victims of Hurricane Michael
After the storm passes and the destruction is all that is left, our first response is often to rush in. In some cases this could be a burden on the people trying to survive in the area.
One of the best ways to help is to donate, or train to enter the area weeks even months later. That's the message people from Canterbury United Methodist Church are sending out.
They are asking that anyone who wishes to help, join them in collecting items for when the storm clears.
If you would like to help you can find the list here.
