Drive-through COVID-19 test center coming to Bessemer

Cahaba Medical Care is opening a drive-through COVID-19 testing center at the Bessemer Civic Center on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. The site will be open each Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. until further notice.

Due to the limited supply of COVID-19 test kits, they will only test patients who have symptoms and meet the following criteria:

• Symptoms such as fever, cough and shortness of breath
• Employer mandate
• Signi?cant exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
