Heavy police presence in Center Point as search for Kamille McKinney continues
Center Point, Ala — There was a heavy police presence in the area of Parkway Villa in Center Point on Monday evening. Birmingham police confirm to ABC 33|40 that it was tied to the ongoing search for Kamille McKinney but could not provide any more details.
The roads leading into the apartment complex were blocked. ABC 33|40 crews saw several K-9 units in the area.

Police left the area by 9 PM. It is unknown at this time what led officers to the location or what, if anything, they discovered.
