Homicide investigation underway in Childersburg

Childersburg Police are investigating a deadly shooting Tuesday night.

Chief Richard McClelland told ABC 33/40 a homicide investigation is underway after one person was shot and killed at the Sadie Lee housing projects

A family member told ABC 33/40 that she found out about her relative's death through Facebook around 6:00 P.M.

Chief McClelland said the victim is Destephen McFarland.
