MARION, Ala. (WBMA) — A boil water advisory was lifted in Marion Wednesday night. Local restaurants reopened their doors Thursday thanks to the Marion Water Department receiving "cleared water testing results."
Water problems resulted in area schools moving virtual the rest of the week.
One farmer faced the issue of how to get water to her animals.
"We were to the point of needing to hook up some sort of a cube, so we could put water in it, go get water, so that we could pump water to our trough because we were out of all of our secondary water on the farm," said Jennifer Hoggle, Marion resident.
