Montevallo man accused of sexually assaulting 9-year-old
MONTEVALLO, Ala. —
A 27-year-old Montevallo man was arrested Friday for child sex abuse, court documents reveal.
Michael Joseph Snell has been accused of digitally penetrating a nine-year-old's genitals, sometime between January and September 16 of this year. Snell is charged with sex abuse of a child younger than 12 years old.
He has been booked into the Shelby County Jail on a $10,000 bond per charge, for a total $40,000 bond. As a condition of his bond, he may not have contact with the victim.
