Mother, baby struck by vehicle, hospitalized
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
A mother and her baby were hospitalized after a vehicle struck them in Ensley Wednesday night around 8:30 p.m.
Birmingham Fire Captain Harold Watson says the mother and child were hit at 31st Street and Ensley Avenue. The mother has been hospitalized at UAB with major injuries, and her child is being treated for minor injuries at Children's of Alabama.
ABC 33/40 crews confirm the scene is clear. Authorities do not have anyone in custody related to this incident.
