Overnight standoff in Gadsden ends with two arrests
GADSDEN, Ala. —
Two men are facing charges following an overnight standoff in Gadsden.
Early Tuesday morning, Gadsden police arrived to a home on White Ave. and say a female victim ran from the home without her four children, leaving two suspects inside the home.
After several failed attempted to contact the suspects inside the home, the Joint Special Operations Group (JSOG) was called in for assistance.
Police say both suspects were taken into custody without incident around 3:20 a.m. The children were then reunited with their mother.
Isreal Cortez Cameron, 25, is charged with obstructing governmental operations and 3rd degree domestic violence.
Keanu Kristopher Mims, 22, is charged with obstructing governmental operations.
