HOMEWOOD, Ala. — A man who led Homewood Police on a pursuit Tuesday has been identified and charged.
Christopher Jabbar Coachman, 43, of Birmingham, is facing one count of receiving stolen property and one count of obstruction of justice by using a false identity.
Coachman led police officers on a chase after they tried to pull him over for a switched tag. He was taken into custody at a laundromat after crashing into another car at the intersection of Columbiana Road and Green Springs Highway.
Coachman will be booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a total $30,000 bond.
