North Carolina man found shot to death at Kings Inn in downtown Birmingham

The man found shot to death at a downtown Birmingham motel last week as 30-year-old Hason Amin Alford of High Point, North Carolina, authorities said on Monday.

Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death at a downtown Birmingham motel.

Birmingham police responded to a report of a body found at Kings Inn on 3rd Avenue North around 11:30 a.m. Upon arriving, officers found a man shot dead. Police aren't sure at this time how long the man had been dead and he has yet to be identified.
