Police: Tip leads to murder suspect's arrest day after stabbing

Tarrant Police arrested Blake Goble for murder a day after he allegedly stabbed and killed a man.

On Thursday, October 19th, Tarrant Police arrested a murder suspect after following up on a tip about his location.

The night before, Birmingham Police responded to a call of a man stabbed in a parking lot in the 2300 block of 7th Place Northwest. The victim, Tyroski McCall, 35, later died at St. Vincent's East hospital.

According to detectives, McCall's sister has a protection order against the Blake Goble, who had tried to talk with McCall's sister at her apartment. The woman spoke with him at his car and went back inside her apartment.

Police say Goble then became confrontational, and the McCall grabbed a piece of bed railing and followed Goble to confront him before he left.

Goble got out of his car and the two began fighting. McCall struck Goble with the railing, and Goble responded by stabbing him.

Witnesses say McCall dropped the railing to signal the end of the fight, but Goble continued to stab him. Goble fled the scene by car, but was later located by Tarrant Police.

Goble has been booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
