I-20 East reopens after overnight 18-wheeler fire near Pell City

Alabama State Troopers said at 11 a.m. that both lanes of Interstate 20 East have reopened following an overnight 18-wheeler fire near Pell City and Riverside

Only one eastbound lane of I-20 is open this morning after an overnight tractor trailer fire.

According to state troopers, an 18 wheeler was fully engulfed in flames at mile marker 160 just after midnight. This is between Pell City and Riverside.

Officials are urging drivers to leave home a little early if you will be traveling in this area.
