Two men are each now charged with three counts of murder in connection to human remains being found in a burned vehicle in July 2021..
28-year-old Noel Garcia Esquivel of Montevallo and 27-year-old Abraham Pena Perez of Alabaster have both been arrested. Both men are in the United States illegally. They are being held on $4.5 million bond each, according to the Chilton County Sheriff's Office.
The arrests were made due to evidence collected during the execution of a search warrant on County Roads 5014 and 1080 in Chilton County on January 27, 2022.

On July 2, 2021, Chilton County deputies found a badly burned SUV with the burned remains of three people inside in a wooded area near County Road 5014. The three people in the SUV have been identified as 24-year-old Gabriel Alonzo Rios Jr, 37-year-old Gilberto Munoz Cabrera, and 36-year-old Javier Quintero Gonzalez 36. All three victims were from the Metro Nashville/Hendersonville Tennessee area.
At least two of the victims had been shot prior to be burned.
