BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Jehudijah Davis of Birmingham.

According to the Birmingham Police Department, one person is dead and another is seriously injured after a shooting Wednesday night.
Police said officers responded to 4300 block of Gadsden Street just before 10:00 p.m. on report of two people shot.
Police said officers found the victims inside of a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue pronounced one of the victims dead on the scene and the other victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said there are no suspects in custody.
