Vestavia Police to take part in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Vestavia Hills Police will collect unused or expired medications at select locations on October 28th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On October 28th, law enforcement agencies across the nation will participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

People can safely dispose their unused or expired medication at several drop-off locations in Vestavia Hills.

The Vestavia Hills main police department building at 1032 Montgomery Highway and the Cahaba Heights Precinct next to Fire Station #5 will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for drop-offs.

Officers will be on location to provide assistance.
