TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A 50-year-old Cropwell woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Cheaha Road, about 10 miles north of Talladega, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA officials said Jodie Polarie was fatally injured around 3:25 a.m. when the 2005 Chevy Trailblazer she was driving left the road, struck several trees, and caught fire.

ALEA officials said Polarie was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information was released, but ALEA officials said the crash is being investigated.
