LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Want to get paid to travel the world and post on social media? Royal Caribbean is hiring
Have you ever wanted to travel the world and get paid for it?
Royal Caribbean wants to pay someone to ride around on their cruise ships and post about it on social media.
The cruise ship line is launching an 'apprenticeship' in search of their next 'shore explorer.'
If you win, you get to travel on Royal Caribbean's 'Perfect Day Island' to several locations including CocoCay in the Bahamas, Alaska, Portugal, Norway, Dubai, and Japan.
You'll start traveling in May and go through sometime in August and you'll have to be able to travel at least three or four consecutive weeks.
The 'shore explorer' will get standard meals, nonalcoholic beverages, and a daily allowance, with a paycheck of $2,000 a week.
Royal Caribbean describes ideal candidates as 'adrenaline junkies' who have "a unique ability to capture a moment and tell a story in a simple social media post."
To enter, you have to post an extraordinary travel story, video, or image on Instagram via Instagram stories, IGTV, or a regular post tagging @RoyalCaribbeanUK and #ShoreExplorer during the Promotion Period.
You have until March 1 to enter.
