Auburn basketball climbed five spots, to No. 17 in the latest Associated Press Top 25.

The Tigers picked up a home win over Ole Miss and a road victory at Mississippi State last week. They've won 14 in a row, which is the longest active win streak in college basketball.

Auburn was down double-digits at halftime against the Rebels and the Bulldogs. In the second half against Ole Miss, the Tigers rebounding and hustle led to each opportunities. They collected six more rebounds than Ole Miss and shot almost 56 percent (55.6) after halftime.

Defense keyed the second half rally at Mississippi State. The Tigers forced eight turnovers in the final 20 minutes of their 76-68 win. It's MSU's first home loss this season.

Auburn is 16-1 overall and 4-0 in the SEC. It travels to Alabama (11-6, 3-2) on Wednesday night. Game-time at Coleman Coliseum is 6:00 p.m.
