Edouard Julien delivered heroics in Hoover.

Julien drove in the winning run with an RBI single in the 11th inning, as Auburn eliminates Kentucky, 4-3 at the SEC Tournament on Tuesday. It was Julien's first hit of the game. Before the at-bat, he was 0-4 with three strikeouts.

"Have a short memory," Julien told the SEC Network after the game. "Even if you strikeout, you have to come strong. It could be the last inning or extra innings, you could have the winning hit."

Julien and Auburn will play Ole Miss on Wednesday, and the SEC Tournament shifts to a "double elimination" format. First pitch for the Tigers and the Rebels is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at the Hoover Met.
