BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — The City of Birmingham announced the 15th annual TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl will be held at Legion Field on January 1st, 2021.
“We are honored to be among just a handful of bowl games that are playing on New Year’s Day. We look forward to celebrating our 15th year while showcasing the City of Birmingham to a national television audience," said executive director Mark Meadows.

"Over the years this event has had an economic impact of over $151 million in our city. We’re going to work with our partners to make sure social distancing and safety guidelines are in place for the game so we can have fun while staying safe," said Council President William Parker.
The bowl game will take place at 11:00 a.m. and will air on ESPN2.
