Nick Saban hosted the Nick's Kids Golf Outing at Old Overton Tuesday and talked about three of his favorite topics: Nick's Kids, football, and his vacation to Italy.

Saban didn't sneak off to Italy for his vacation. We all knew that's why he didn't show up for the Regions Tradition Pro-Am earlier this month.

But there was no way he was going to go unrecognized, not even when he was far, far away from Tuscaloosa.

Saban made frequent appearances on social media posing for pictures with Bama fans who were also on their European vacation.

"It's something to say about the brand that we have," Saban said. "An iconic brand. Crimson Tide. You get Roll Tided in Venice, Florence, Rome and the Amalfi Coast. It's everywhere I went. It says something about the brand. I don't know what it says about me."

Saban and his wife Terry have raised and distributed more than $12 million to worthy charities through the Nick's Kids Foundation since they arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2007.
