BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
The 12th annual Nick's Kids Golf Tournament was held at Old Overton Club on Thursday. Coach Nick Saban describes this event as "a really fun day with a lot of great people".
"We feel great about the things we're able to do in the community," Saban said. "17 houses, over seven million dollars...to over 100 kids groups. Building a school with a juvenile detention center now in Tuscaloosa. I mean, there are a lot of things we've been able to do for the community, a lot of people support it."
The Nick's Kids Foundation charity has teamed with Habitat for Humanity to build 17 houses, as well as many other community projects including playgrounds, children's centers and a multi-purpose learning facility in Tuscaloosa.
