Elizabeth Lane is thrilled to be back in sweet home Alabama!

Elizabeth joined the ABC 33/40 team in December 2017.

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, she graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.A. in Communication and Information Sciences and a minor in Political Science.

Previously, she served as the weekend anchor and lead nightside reporter at KAMC News in Lubbock, Texas.

During her time in Lubbock, Elizabeth was first to break the story that made national headlines when a Texas Tech student allegedly shot and killed a campus police officer. Her reporting was featured on HLN's Primetime Justice.

Before beginning her news career, she completed a fellowship in the Press Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, working closely with the press team to respond to the tragic Dallas Police shooting.
